The 19" Turbo wheels show blemishes and are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S tires. Braking is handled by red Porsche-branded six- and four-piston front and rear calipers over rotors measuring 13.8? at each corner. The car is equipped with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) as well as Porsche Stability Management (PSM) with an automatic brake differential (ABD).
The heated adaptive sports seats are upholstered in Carrera Red and black natural leather and are accompanied by body-color seat backs along with matching red leather that extends to the dashboard, door panels, steering column, and sun visors. Interior amenities include carbon-fiber trim, auto-dimming mirrors, driver-seat memory settings, Porsche Communication Management, navigation, a Bose sound system, a remote six-disc CD changer, automatic climate control, and cruise control.
The leather- and carbon-fiber-trimmed steering wheel frames a central tachometer and a 225-mph speedometer as well as gauges for oil temperature, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The optional Sport Chrono Package added a stopwatch atop the dashboard.
The twin-turbocharged and intercooled 3.6-liter Mezger flat-six was factory rated at 480 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque. The Sport Chrono Package allows the 997.1 Turbo to overboost for up to 10 seconds, increasing peak rated torque to 505 lb-ft.
Power is sent to all four wheels through a five-speed Tiptronic S automatic transaxle and a mechanically locking rear differential.
